Happy New Year! The DVD Release...

After opening a great theatrical run with so many great events, we're proud to announce that "Revenge of the Electric Car" releases on DVD on January 24th, 2012!  We've jammed the DVD with all sorts of special features, including a 35-minute panel discussion after the premiere screening at the Tribeca Film Festival this year- with Chris Paine, Dan Neil, Carlos Ghosn, Elon Musk, and moderated by David Duchovny.  We especially love the moment when Wall Street Journal columnist Dan Neil says, "you're not going to see electric tractor trailers out there any time soon..." and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk replies, "yes you will," then the crowd cheered.  There are plenty of great discussion topics during this panel presentation.  The DVD also has extra footage, celebrity interviews, and more!

As an independently distributed film we've done a lot of work ourselves to bring this film to you, and we ask that you please consider ordering the DVD directly from our distributor-- which brings more money directly to the filmmakers and less to the middleman.  You can purchase the DVD January 24th HERE.

I live in Australia. PLEASE let us BUY the film from you as a download. Hopefully a big chunky 1080p video file too! I bought "Running On Lithium" last night for $35 and it was a 720p file. Very nice documentary about John Waylands "White Zombie" electric

I'm from The Netherlands. Please sell this movie in our country! Our population density is huge, so when you ship this baby up here, you'll reach 17 million people within the toss of a rock (Dutch expression). I agree with the Aussi, blue ray rocks, but
anything will do. I'd hate to have to download a good movie like this (from shaky Australian cams, for crying out loud :P).

2 questions should sort things out for Australians (or most other non-Americans) 1) is it an ordinary DVD encoded for all regions rather than US only? (that makes it playable on locally purchased DVD players), and 2) Does the preferred distributor mail
outside the the US? If the answer is yes to both we should have no complaints.

it is good to hear that this CD is going to be release on 24th January 2012.I have only question the CD which is going to be release is it an ordinary DVD and also I am curious about if there is going to be a Blu-Ray.Let see what happens in this Event.
Actually, My reply will be yes , if there is no complaint regarding this CD. I am eagerly waiting for this CD to release on 24th January 201l2 so we can watch the event about Revenge of electric car and also discover the winner of this Revenge between electric

I don't get all the "Will it be on Blu Ray" comments it's like saying year I read War and Peace but I wish it was typed in Helvetica rather than Times New Roman. Who cares if it's DVD or Blu Ray what do expect terrific panorama or breathtaking landscapes,
or perhaps you like to see the grain in the battery box cases, lol... geez people get the message

I have yet to see the film. And I fully support electric cars! :) It's a big step towards energy independence, albeit through the ceased usage of fuel or something else. It just feels right. Big ups for the DVD release!
